Interests

The centrosome is the major microtubule organising centre in the cell. Centrosomal abnormalities are common in epithelial cancers, including aberrations in both structure and number. As the largest protein complex in the cell, the centrosome is also an important signalling platform. We are interested in centrosome biology, in particular in the function of this organelle in mitosis, genome stability and polarity.
