Strategic Initiative

The Research Policy Committee of the University of Cambridge have endorsed the plans which we submitted for cancer to be approved as a Strategic Initiative. 

There are eight Strategic Initiatives which have been recognised across the University and cancer is one of three which are disease-based. 

The Strategic Initiatives will become priorities for University fundraising and we hope the Cambridge Cancer Centre will therefore benefit.
